Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 August 2026

Bedder is a housekeeping coordination tool for small hotels. This policy explains what data Bedder handles, why, and how to remove it. It covers the Bedder iPhone app, the web panel, and the optional Gmail connection.

Google user data Bedder accesses

If - and only if - you connect a Gmail account, Bedder requests the gmail.readonly scope. It uses that access for one purpose: reading the shift-schedule messages sent by the sender address you configure, so your shifts appear in the app.

What Bedder stores

Bedder does not store the body of your email beyond what is needed to produce the shift, and stores no message from any other sender.

How Google user data is used

Only to create and update your shifts inside Bedder. That data is never used for advertising, never sold, never transferred to third parties, and never used to train generalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models. Humans do not read it, except when you explicitly ask for support with a specific problem and give permission for that message to be looked at.

Limited Use disclosure. Bedder's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Analytics on this website

These public pages - the home page, this policy and the terms - use Google Analytics to count visits. It records the page you opened, the approximate region the request came from and the kind of device, and it sets a cookie in your browser to tell a returning visit from a new one. It does not identify you by name and it is not used for advertising.

This is the website only. The Bedder app and web panel carry no analytics, and no data received from Google APIs - no message, no shift, no email address - is ever sent to Google Analytics or to any other analytics service. The two are entirely separate.

You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on or by blocking cookies for this site. Nothing on these pages needs the cookie to work.
